Carea Bends The Rules of Cladding With Curved Panel Solutions
Carea will be demonstrating its unrivalled ability to manufacture curved cladding panels of virtually every radial value at Ecobuild 2012 – the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment.
The ever expanding Carea range of cladding systems can help architects, designers and engineers to create buildings which are truly unique. With the company’s unparalleled flexibility to accommodate radial conditions with sweeping curves, rather than accept faceting, Carea has further enhanced its reputation as a leading innovator in facade solutions.
In recent years, there has been an emergence of complex facades in building design. To meet the growing demands of architects and designers, Carea has developed a curved panel manufacturing capability that will help to deliver a whole new range of façade dimensions – whilst still providing low maintenance, excellent thermal efficiency and high insulation performance associated with all Carea cladding.
Carea’s curved panels were used at the new Law and Court Building at the University of Hertfordshire. The project architects, RMJM, specified Carea’s curved panels, which were then combined with other renders and textures to create a unique exterior that would complement the traditional buildings already on campus.
For a closer look at the full capabilities of Carea’s curved cladding panels, they will be on show at Ecobuild 2012 on stand N750, at London’s ExCel exhibition and conference centre from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd March.
